A Phone Concierge for Independent Professionals
Under a car, on a ladder, in a meeting — you cannot pick up. The concierge finds out whether it was a customer.
If your mobile is your business line, the concierge answers when you cannot, asks the caller what they need, and hands you a reason rather than a number to call back blind. Availability rules let the same line behave differently depending on whether you are working.
The specific problem
It is not that you get too many calls. It is that you are physically unable to answer — hands full, on a job, driving — and the cost of missing the wrong one is a lost customer. So you call everyone back, which is unpaid time, or you gamble.
What changes
A call comes back as: who they were, what they wanted, how urgent it sounded. You can triage twelve of those in the time it took to return three blind callbacks, and you can tell instantly which one was a customer and which was someone selling advertising.
One phone, two modes
Availability rules mean the line can be a business line at 10am and a personal line at 8pm without you carrying a second handset or changing your number.
