FAQ

Cellular Concierge — common questions.

Everything visitors need to know about Cellular Concierge before getting started — what it costs, how setup works, and the service limitations.

Setup at a glance

We hand you the line. You forward it.

Most setup questions concern the assigned service number, forwarding the existing line, and confirming that the configured assistant is answering as the selected brand. The answers below use this brand's verified terms.

What is Cellular Concierge?

It is a personal call-handling service for the mobile phone you already own. A concierge answers on your behalf, greets the caller, asks who is calling and why, and hands you the result — connected, message taken, or follow-up needed. Call screening is included underneath, but the point is the concierge, not the blocking.

Do I have to change my phone number or my carrier?

No. You keep your existing number, your phone, and your carrier. Cellular Concierge is an independent call-handling service that works alongside your phone service — it is not a wireless carrier and does not replace it.

Will my callers know they are talking to an automated concierge?

Yes, and we tell them in the first breath: “Hello, you’ve reached the virtual phone concierge for [your name]. May I ask your name and how I can help?” The concierge does not pretend to be a person and does not pretend to be you.

What happens to unknown callers?

They meet the concierge first. The concierge asks who they are and what they need, then hands you the answer instead of the interruption. If it matters, you can be connected; if it does not, it comes back to you as a message or is simply handled.

Can the people who matter still reach me right away?

Yes. Priority callers — family, your office, your doctor — are recognized and put through. The concierge exists to protect your attention, not to wall you off from the people who should have it.

Does this stop spam, scam, and robocalls?

It reduces the interruption they cause, because a nuisance caller has to get past a concierge that asks who they are and why they are calling — and most do not stay on the line. We do not promise to eliminate spam, prevent fraud, or stop scam calls. No honest call-handling service can, and any product that guarantees it is overstating what is possible.

Can I use it for emergencies?

No. Cellular Concierge is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for 911, emergency dispatch, or medical alert monitoring. Never rely on it to summon help.

What does it cost?

Plans are still being finalized, so there is no price to quote yet. Rather than publish a number that might move, we are opening early access first — early access members hear the real pricing from us before it is public. Joining early access does not create a subscription or a payment obligation.
